Croteam Serious About Xbox
The European development studio Croteam is serious about the Xbox as they have already begun "preliminary" work on an Xbox version of their critically acclaimed first-person shooter "Serious Sam." The reason way say "Xbox version" and not straight up call it a port is because Croteam plans on making it a compilation of both the first PC game and upcoming Serious Sam sequel Second Encounter. Youll be able to use many of the characters and fight many of the enemies through a combination of many of the levels found in both games. Additional features such as multiplayer or network support havent been discussed as of yet, but it is known for a fact that the Serious Sam engine is already usable on the Xbox. Developer 3000AD is using it for its own Xbox game, known as Project ABC. Look for Serious Sam on Xbox near the end of this year. Croteam is currently in negotiations with publisher Take-Two Interactive, so all we need is finalization.Source: http://gamespot.com
