Sony is very Afraid

Xbox Addict received an Email from a very upset Babbage’s sales associate whose name will not be mentioned. This what it said:

To whoever is reading this:

I am your average gamer and I am also a Babbage’s sales associate. I’m not sure how well known a fact this is yet; or if it is known at all - but earlier this week (12/3) Sony made a call to all Babbage’s Etc stores (including all of their affiliate stores i.e. Funcoland, PlanetX, Software Etc. Super Software - you get the point) and demanded that we take down all Xbox signs and advertisements. They then proceeded to threaten us that they would never again send us any Sony or Sony related products if we didn’t take all Xbox signage down. I’m not sure of any other retailer they did the same thing too. But I am trying to spread the word in hopes that someone or maybe even Microsoft takes some sort of legal action against this. It apparently seems Sony is scared out of their wits that Xbox is going to blow them out of the water (which it of course is going to).

Yours truly,
A disgruntled employee

After reading this I posted it on our message board to get some feedback and today I went to my local Babbage’s. When I got to the store I noticed that there were no Xbox signs around like they were a couple weeks ago, so I asked the manager if this information that I received was true, his reply was "Yes it was." I can’t believe that Sony would do something like this. Like the writer of the email stated, "It apparently seems Sony is scared out of their wits that Xbox is going to blow them out of the water (which it of course is going to)."
