Update on Robin Hood
FGN Online tracked down and spoke to Game Designer Morgan Gray, to get the latest scoop on Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown. With questions ranging from the changes that were made from the original game, to how much different will each version be from the previous one. This is what Gray had to say. (Hey, that rhymes!)
"Everything that was found in the original game has either been significantly enhanced, or completely redesigned to bring it up to date." "From a design point, that alone is not enough to make a new classic. Its our goal to go beyond what is out there today. As for new features, weve included more mini-games such as mace combat and various archery mini-games.""Weve taken the rather simple elements of the original and added more depth and richness, while at the same time not sacrificing accessibility. Its too early to go into detail about every new feature, but rest assured in the coming months we will be releasing more information."
"Our goal is for all versions to be as identical as possible in terms of gameplay. We will optimize each version to take advantage of the strengths of the individual platforms. There will also be minor changes to the controller schemes used in the game. Overall, all differences between the versions will be minimal."
