Xbox Sales Target Unchanged
In a report on Yahoo news Microsoft states it hasn’t changed its original target of shipping 4.5 million to 6 million units of its Xbox games console worldwide by the end of June. "We have not revised our original sales estimates at this time. We’re very pleased with the launches in all three regions of the world," the company said in a statement that responded to a research note issued by brokerage Soundview Technology Group last week. Soundview analysts lowered their estimates for Microsoft ’s Xbox sales to 4.35 million units from 4.6 million, citing a disappointing launch in Japan and a relatively slow launch in Europe.
