The Unholy only on Xbox
GA source has reported that OtherWorlds InterActive will develop the game The Unholy, exclusively for the Xbox. The Unholy will be a horror/adventure game, where the player must search though demon infested rooms, find ancient Egyptian ruins, and take a trip right to Satan’s front door.GA also got to talk with OtherWorlds InterActive’s founder Ken Dee. Dee explains why they picked the Xbox to handle their hellish game. Here is just a tidbit of what was said.
"Xbox is more affordable that a PC, and basically out performs what is on the market now, as far as any console game or windows PC can deliver," he said. "Xbox comes off the shelf with a 733 Pentium III, and with No background OS running the equivalent speed is said to compare to a PC with a 1Ghz processor or higher. Xbox is the first, in our opinion, to actually compete head to head with the average PC and win. The performance of it will stand for several years "AS-IS", while game developers such as us create new and more realistic game play. Also we note that an average PC is not cost effective to update when you can get an X-Box for $200-300, while a PC upgrade can cost well above that on that parts alone."
