Ubi Soft Reveals E3 2002 Line-Up

SAN FRANCISCO--April 30, 2002--Ubi Soft(R) Entertainment, one of the world’s largest videogame publishers, today revealed its plans for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), one of the industry’s major events of the year. Focusing on powerful brands, Ubi Soft is showcasing two never before seen Tom Clancy games - Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six(TM) Raven Shield(TM) and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell(TM). Ubi Soft will also unveil the new sequel to the 10 million plus, best-selling Rayman(R) franchise with the eagerly anticipated Rayman(R)3 Hoodlum Havoc. Also new this year, the latest creation from Michel Ancel, creator of Rayman. This top secret game will finally be revealed for the first time at the show. In addition, Ubi Soft plans to show its versatility with the debut of XIII, a first person shooter that contains a completely interactive graphic novel. Ubi Soft’s booth, which is located at #724, South Hall in the Los Angeles Convention Center, will be a testament to the company’s commitment to feature games for all leading platforms of the market. This E3, the company will throw its weight behind on-line gaming -both on console and PC. Ubi Soft’s booth features Shadowbane, continually voted the most highly anticipated Massively Multiplayer On-line game by fans of PC Gamer in North America. Ubi Soft will also demonstrate its premier console on-line titles, including Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon(TM). Ubi Soft is known for its excellent licensed products, and will continue that trend by featuring games like Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon(TM), The Sum of all Fears, and Sabrina The Teenage Witch(TM): Potion Commotion. "This year Ubi Soft is offering new twists to its established brands, creating new franchises and bringing powerful licenses to the market. This is a brand focused business," said Laurent Detoc, president Ubi Soft Entertainment Inc.
