Activision Keepin It Real With Hip Hop
SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 9 The hip hop music that echoes in playgrounds from New York City to Venice Beach will have gamers on their feet in Activision, Inc.s (Nasdaq: ATVI - News) Street Hoops(TM), an all- out street level, black top basketball game. Featuring top hip hop artists Cypress Hill, Method Man and Redman and Xzibit, to name a few, the soundtrack will rock gamers on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system and Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft this August. The game allows players to compete in a nationwide tournament representing their hometown on the most famous street courts in nine U.S. cites, as well as four fantasy courts that can be unlocked during gameplay.
