New jobs for Hungary
The Xbox could majorly help Hungarys financial situation. According to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, by making the Xbox in his country, it could make as many as 5,000 new jobs. Officials over at Microsoft have said that number is a little steep. Production of the Xbox would make the biggest exports for Hungary, rivaling with Volkswagen AG owned Audi plant that makes engines and cars.
Microsoft has stated that the Hungary plants are owned by Flextronics International a Singapore-based electronics manufacturer. Although Microsoft and Flextronics have made a worldwide agreement on production of the Xbox, not all of the details have been ironed out yet.
