No Territorial Lockouts
Gamespot has reported that the Xbox will not have any hardware territorial lockouts, unless the game publishers put them in. That’s right, Microsoft is clearly leaving that decision up to the game publishers and not the console designers.
If these territorial lockouts are not installed by game publishers, players can pop in any game from around the world to play on the same console and at the same time, don’t have to worry about screwing up their warranty due to modifications.
