Xbox High Octane Racing Pack
If you live in Australia, and dont have an Xbox yet here is a new racing pack you should be interested in with 2 great racing games. Hopefully this will catch on and we will start seeing this type of thing in other regions too. If we get lucky, maybe even game packs with 3 games and you would save $25 or so. Heres to the future! The full report is below. THE MARK SKAIFE XBOX RACING BUNDLE Sydney, 4 October 2002 – Xbox has today launched their new bundle – the High Octane Racing Pack. The limited-edition HIGH OCTANE RACING PACK will feature: a copy of Mark Skaife's new book, "Diary of a Champion" (the book will itself be launched on October 7) the Xbox best selling game, Project Gotham Racing another Xbox best seller, RalliSport Challenge and, of course, an Xbox! The HIGH OCTANE RACING PACK will be available at over 800 Australian retail outlets at a recommended retail price of $449 (incl gst). Mark Skaife, Australia's reigning V8 Supercar champion, launched the bundle at X02, the major Xbox event held last week which launched the enormous Christmas line-up of Xbox video games. Skaife, who has been personally involved in the development of the bundle, said at the launch that he was very proud to be in partnership with Xbox. "I now have a fantastic sponsorship and product partnership with Xbox, and I must say I'm enjoying wearing Xbox on my helmet and gloves, and working with the guys here at Xbox," he said. "This pack is simply great. It's the most intense driving experience you can have off the V8 track."
