Raising The Bar to Next Level
Since the unveiling of the Xbox last weekend, ole J Allard is "taking the bull by the horn" and making a bold statement, to have a global target of 100 million Xbox sales. Days after CES in Las Vegas, Allard spoke with MCV about the commitment from developers, publishers and retailers plus eager anticipation from consumers and his vision he has for the furture of the Xbox.
"We want an Xbox to sit next to every VCR. The games that developers can create on Xbox will appeal to the mass market - and thats the key. The first three million sales are easy. Its the next 100 million that are tough."
With that said it looks like the Xbox is on its way to become the most successful console to date.
