Ghost Recon Goes Gold
Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest game publishers, is pleased to announce that the eagerly awaited Xbox Live title Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon has mastered, achieving gold status. Expected to be the hottest title on Microsoft’s Xbox Live online game service, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon (Xbox) has already earned an Editor’s Choice award from Official Xbox Magazine. "Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon will rock console gaming to its core," said Tony Kee, Vice President of Marketing for Ubi Soft Entertainment. "Ghost Recon showcases Xbox Live by creating a very realistic game play experience. Gamers can talk to one another and plan out strategies or develop maneuvers using the Xbox Communicator, tackle missions cooperatively, or challenge and advance in rank as they complete their missions. The result is a true-to-life battlefield experience that will leave gamers winded from nonstop combat action!" Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon was IGN PC’s (www.ign.com) and PC Gamer’s PC Game of the Year (2001) and the Xbox version builds on that strong foundation. To leverage the power of Xbox, new features and special effects only available on the Xbox platform have been added: new lighting, animation, effects and sound that have been worked into the game to broaden the intensity and experience for the Xbox gamer. Realism is the hallmark of the award-winning Tom Clancy games, which also include the popular Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series and the much-anticipated Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.Source: http://www.gameinfowire.com/
