Mind Control v1.0According to the Boston Herald a new form of game play is on its way in the form of a brain wave reading device that requires but a thought to control the game. Hello altered states! Childrens brains will be exploding around the world that is after the hopeful parents (not the exploding part though) chock down a healthy $899 for their kids to play pong. Yes you heard it right.. it plays Pong! While thats well worth the cost of the product, the "Attention Trainer" comes with a car and bicycle racing titles as well.
East3, makers of the Attention trainer, recently signed a contract with Hasbro Interactive for use of the trainer. The trainer reportedly reads a players state of mind to reward better concentration. A special helmet equipped with an electroencephalograph, or EEG, scans a persons brainwaves and transmits that data to the game.
