NEC to Make Xbox Titles
NEC Interchannel, Ltd., a subsidiary of NEC Corp., has announced its plans to re-enter the gaming industry as a third party publisher. The company will produce content for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube, with its first product, Tube Slider, a futuristic racing title for the GameCube, expected out sometime this month. Clint Kurahashi, a former vice-president of Capcom Entertainment, Inc. will head up NEC’s new gaming venture. NEC does have a heritage in the interactive entertainment business, launching the Turbo-Graphix-16 console back in 1989. NOTE: Let’s hope Bonk’s Adventure makes a come back!Source: http://www.nec.com/
