Interview with David Cage
The folks at the French Xbox site, Xbox-fr.com, had the opportunity to chat with David Cage, chairman and founder of the Quantic Dream studio, on future projects that his company has in store and also his opinions dealing with next-gen platforms. Here’s a piece of the interview.
Xbox-Fr: What can you tell us about Quantic Dream?Would you like some more? Make a trip over babelfish.com and get your own translator to help you read the rest of the interview.D.C.: Financial investors returned to our capital. We opened offices in San Francisco with Philip Campbell, artistic director of the " Tomb Raider Gold " series. Even for the moment, it is mainly about a commercial antenna, in the future, there will be certainly a team of US development.
Side development, we complete a phase of significant transition for the company. We restructured our chain of production, reinforced our management, developed prototypes advanced on several concepts. We bought a new system of motion captures optical Viacon equipped with ten infra-red cameras Mcam, which will be operational at the end of February. We also are very largely invested in the next generation of our technology, driving 3D and IAM, our intelligent tool of scripting (which in particular was useful on NOMAD Soul).
