Gamestock Announcement
Gamespot reports that Microsoft has announced the list of developers that are to be showcasing their XBOX titles at the upcoming Press Only event, Gamestock. Debuting five years ago with only 5 games and 25 journalist, the yearly press-only event has grown considerably every year with the 2000 Gamestock displaying over 25 products from gaming titles to hardware. This year it’s almost a sure thing that the number of 25 products will be outdone with XBOX being showcased along with a slew of titles for the PC, most notably Dungeon Siege from Gas Powered Games! <-- Big shout out to Chris Taylor from GPG! Among the list of companies that are scheduled to show off new Xbox products are Bizarre Creations, developer of Metropolis Street Racer and Fur Fighters; Gas Powered Games, maker of Dungeon Siege; and Relic Entertainment, developer of the real-time strategy game Homeworld. Also, Bungie Software will be showing the Xbox version of Halo, and Oddworld Inhabitants will display Oddworld: Munch’s Odyssey. Lionhead Studios will be showing its project, which will likely be the Xbox version of Black & White.
