The Haunted Mansion Ships

Welcome, Foolish Mortals, to Disney’s The Haunted Mansion! TDK Mediactive Ships The Haunted Mansion for all Gaming Console Platforms Just in time for some shivery Halloween fun, TDK Mediactive, Inc., a global publisher of entertainment software, and Disney Interactive, a publishing label of Buena Vista Games Inc., announced today that Disney’s The Haunted Mansion game has materialized at retail stores throughout North America. Inspired by the theme park attraction that hosts millions of foolish mortals each year, The Haunted Mansion video game is available for PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox(TM) video game system from Microsoft, and the Nintendo GameCube(TM) video game system. Walt Disney Pictures’ major motion picture starring Eddie Murphy will debut in November 2003. In this famous house of wall-to-wall creeps and hot-and-cold running chills, Zeke Holloway must put 999 unwelcome evil spirits to rest while trying to keep himself from being scared to death...literally. Players navigate through ghoulish game environments based on both the attraction and the movie. In addition, players must solve eerie puzzles and uncover tons of hidden clues, passageways and secrets untold to unleash the evil trapped inside this once happy haunting habitat. The beloved spirit in the crystal ball, Madame Leota, provides assistance to the lost souls. Now it is up to Zeke to avoid becoming spirit number 1000! "The game has really captured the spirit of the Haunted Mansion lore," deadpanned Michael Devine, executive vice president of sales and marketing for TDK Mediactive.
