Ninja Gaiden Delay Official
Tecmo announced today that Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox will be delayed till early next year. Ninja, the development team of the third-person action title, has pushed the date back to "further improve" on the quality of the game. "Team Ninja is known for their commitment to perfection and the decision is only a reflection of their desire to create the best action game ever," said John Inada, Tecmos General Manager. "We are proud of the fact that were allowed to place the quality before the fast buck. To stay true to Tecmos lofty philosophy, we chose this extra time to further fine-tune and enhance the game." Ninja Gaiden was originally released in the arcades and on the NES console. Although the Xbox version will once again star Ryu Hayabusa, the storyline and world will be different from the previous games. The game will primarily involve hack-n-slash sword fighting, but will also have puzzle elements. As an added bonus, three complete versions of the original NES versions will be in the game. Ninja Gaiden is slated for release in early February 2004.Source: http://www.gamepro.com/
