THQ Announces Big MovesTHQ Inc. today announced two new strategic appointments within its expanding international operations. Ian Curran, previously Managing Director of THQ UK, has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice President, European Publishing. In this role, Curran will oversee the companys expanding European operations including offices in England, Germany and France. Since joining THQ in late 2000, Curran has played a key role in growing the companys international revenues to more than 25% of its global sales. In his new role as Vice President, Asia-Pacific Publishing, Martin Good will continue to develop THQs opportunities across this region. Having joined THQ as General Manager of THQs Australia and New Zealand operations in early 2000, Goods responsibilities quickly expanded to include the Asian markets where he began to cultivate distribution opportunities, opening a Korean office in early 2003. "As the installed base of the current generation of hardware increases across the globe, we see a significant opportunity to further grow our international businesses, particularly across Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions," said Eric Doctorow, Chief Operating Officer, THQ.
