Japan Gets New Xbox Models

The console will be limited to 1,000 units and will only be sold on the Xbox website. The buyer can then have the console engraved with up to 20 letters on the console casing. The Xbox Pure White Limited will retail for about $186 dollars and will be available from January 30 to February 6. Included with the console is a white controller, DVD player kit, and Xbox Live starter kit with a free one-year membership. The second new console, called Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue, will be released alongside Tecmo’s Dead or Alive Online (now named Dead or Alive Ultimate) on March 25. The console is a semi-transparent blue based on the costume worn by DoA’s Kasumi. This version of the console will me limited to 5,000 units and retail for $215. This console comes packaged with a Kasumi seat cushion, blue controller, DVD player kit, Xbox Live starter kit and a free year’s subscription, and the Dead or Alive Ultimate game.
