Xbox Tourney Raises Cancer Funds
On April 3, 2004, 200 gamers will descend on the University of Rochester and pony up a $25 entrance fee for the chance to blast each other into another time zone in a double elimination tournament. All proceeds from the tournament will go to the University of Rochester James P. Wilmot Cancer Center for patient care and cancer research. The tournaments was arranged by the university’s Information Technology Sales department and is their first fund raising event.
