Xbox Gets Six More First-Parties

Microsoft has lined up six more first-party developers, Blitz Games, Curly Monsters, Double Fine Productions, Radical Entertainment, Vision Scape Interactive and Yeti Interactive. All of them will use their creative minds to make games exclusive for Xbox. With that said kiddies, it’s now time see the behavior habits of "Big Wheels" patting each other on the back. The first quote is from the vice president of Xbox games publishing, Ed Fries and the second one is from Tim Schafer, game designer and founder of Double Fine Productions.

Fries: "These artists have ambitions of delivering games that push the bounds of what’s possible in video gaming, making them a perfect fit for Xbox. As their publisher, Microsoft will support them with technical support, testing, marketing and distribution power while the artists focus on bringing their imaginations to life on Xbox."

Schafer: "Xbox is the first and best chance there is to create the games we’ve been hoping to do for years. Having Microsoft as a publisher is great because it’s got the determination and resources to make the game right, and to bring it to an enormous worldwide audience. It’s also exciting to work with because of its commitment not just to future-generation technology, but to future-generation content."
