Take-Two makes deal with MTV
MTVs animated clay series, Celebrity Deathmatch is currently being developed by Take-Two Interactive. This title will be their first product in development under its four-year agreement with MTV Networks. Although details of the gameplay were not released, its safe to say judging by the TV show, it should be a fighting game. CEO of Take-Two Interactive, Kelly Sumner, made this comment:
"We are very excited about bringing such a successful franchise to market and feel that the combination of this leading entertainment brand with next-generation consoles is a perfect fit for Take-Two, MTV, and even more importantly, the fans of Celebrity Deathmatch. We are very pleased with the success weve had in both building our brand franchises as well as our leading position on the next-generation consoles."
Other deals that Take-Two has with MTV Networks are programs that are currently being aired such as Road Rules and any non-sports related programs that will be launched during the course of this agreement.
