Capcoms Fighting Jam New Details

Capcom Fighting Jam will see release in Japanese arcades, Famitsu Weekly reports this week. Capcom’s upcoming jam-session 2D fighter, featuring characters from all over the map of the developer’s history, is also on its way to PlayStation 2 and Xbox in Japan, but gamers will also be able to compete in the more fighting-friendly arcade scene. The game’s Japanese debut doesn’t clearly indicate what hardware is powering the arcade version, but it does reveal a selection of new characters:
  • Jedah (Vampire Savior)<\li>
  • Rose (Street Fighter Alpha<\li>
  • Mukuro (Warzard)<\li>
  • Alex (Street Fighter III)<\li>
  • Vega/M.Bison (Street Fighter II)<\li> Capcom has yet to confirm a release date for any of the three Japanese versions, but it will evidently go on location test in select arcades before the end of this month. Meanwhile, American gamers can still look forward to the PS2 and Xbox versions this November.
