Possible ups and downs for Xbox
We were sent word today from Jeff Nash over at The Armchair Empire that they have done a review of the Xbox, and a prediction of it’s future. This review is done by Lee Cieniawa, and in this review Lee makes predictions about possible success and failure of the Xbox. A good read either way you look at it. Here’s a small sample of what Lee thinks.Based on past battles, not everybody could survive the upcoming hardware war of 2001-02 brewing. More casualties than just the Dreamcast could occur. History has shown us that the market cannot profitably support more than two hardware units at one time. Sony and Nintendo have been there already. New kid on the block Microsoft is out to prove that its Xbox is the gaming machine ready to overtake one or both of its rivals...
