MS Holds Halo 2 Tourney for Canadians

worldwide championships? Two Ways To Enter If you think you can dual-wield your way to the top, we have two ways for you to enter the Halo® 2 Canadian Championship Tournament. Halo 2 Big Screen Heroes On Sunday, March 20 you can head over to a participating Cineplex Odeon or Galaxy Cinemas near you and enter the Halo® 2 Big Screen Tournament. The tournament fee is $15 and you can get your tickets at www.cineplex.com or www.galaxycinemas.com or direct from the theatre box office. Once you’ve signed up for the Big Screen battle and warmed up your trigger finger, call your friends and head down to a participating theatre near you. Tickets will be available from March 8 to March 20. Space is limited! Top Spots on Xbox Live If you’re already playing Halo® 2 on Xbox Live, you can register for the tournament through your ranking on the Leader Board. The more you shoot ‘em up on Xbox Live the faster and higher you move up the Leader Board. Only the top 8 players on Xbox Live will qualify, so get on and start refining your game. If you’re one of the chosen few, we’ll contact you before April and invite you to battle it out in the finals. So, link your Gamertag to register for this tournament and start improving your ranking today. Big Screen Heroes and Live Leaders Battle for Supremacy The Halo® 2 Canadian Championship Tournament will take place over Xbox Live on Sunday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. EST. The top 8 players from the Cineplex Odeon and Galaxy Cinemas Big Screen tournament and the top 8 players from Xbox Live will shoot, snipe, and blast it out in a series of matches. The last man standing will forever be known as the Canadian Halo® 2 Champion and will go on to combat the rest of the best from around the world. The first round will consist of four matches with four players per match. The top 2 players from each match will advance to the next round. The second round will consist of two matches with four players per match. The top 2 players from each match will advance to the final round.
