Another Talk With Tony Simerman
Daily Radar got the chance to talk to Tony Simerman, the producer of Circus Maximus. During the interview we find out just how they came up with such a title. Here is a clip:
Daily Radar: It seems like racing games have gotten rather stale lately, what motivated you to try something different like Circus Maximus?Tony Simerman: The power of 16 thundering chariot teams in concert with the opportunity to create the sites and sounds of ancient Rome was motivation enough. Sprinkle in some combative "thuggery" and Kodiak was hooked. I think the power of the next-gen hardware is also a big factor. I don’t think we could execute the vision we have for this game without it.
