Bioware Support for Xbox 360

Speaking to Gamespot, Bioware has confirmed that they currently have two games in development for the Xbox 360. Gamespot talked with Bioware's Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk about the company's future games. "We're working on two 360 titles right now, so we have a pretty good sense of what's possible, and where this generation's at," said Zeschuk. "I think we'll see where it's going pretty soon, but I think all the next-gen stuff is pretty exciting." The co-CEOs were keen to stress that these games didn't include their in development PC RPG Dragon Age, but they didn't rule out future games in that series appearing on consoles. The interview also revealed details on the company's plans for other consoles. "We're actually looking at all the next-gen systems closely - they all look impressive - very interesting and powerful," commented Muzyka. Handheld development was also something that the pair seemed extremely interested in. Muzyka said: "Can you imagine some of our RPGs on a handheld? All of a sudden, we've got these new handhelds that can actually handle it." While the company has plans to support consoles and handhelds, they were keen to stress that they will continue to support their PC audience. "We've got both a console community and a PC community, and we recognize there's overlap between them, but we also recognize that there are design preferences that are different between the two."
