What Console Game Reigned In June?
Top of the Console Pops Ladies and gentlemen, for the month of June, the top-selling console game belonged to Microsoft’s console, knocking back the usual dominance of Sony on the charts. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for the Xbox takes the top of the list, and can pour itself a steaming cup of coffee and relax. Xbox-exclusive Conker: Live and Reloaded sits proudly at Number 3, with Forza Motorsport, another exclusive for the system, at a respectable Number 12. There’s little doubt that late in this console generation, Microsoft has made a mark. The rest of the list reveals some distinct Star Wars fever (of both the regular and toy block variety), a surprise Madagascar appearance at Number 10, and the same game for GameCube representing Nintendo’s lone entry this month.
