Another Classic RPG Series 360 Bound
The Japanese RPG support for Xbox 360 keeps getting better. The latest RPG announcement came today at Microsofts Xbox Summit in Tokyo. Superstar producer Hiroi Ouji, known for the Sakura Taisen series, announced Tengai Makyo Ziria: Yurakanaru Jipang for the Xbox 360. This Japanese style RPG is being developed by Red Entertainment to be published by Hudson. Tengai Makyo, which goes by the English name of Far East of Eden, was a major player in the Japanese RPG world back at the time of the PC Engine (Turbo Grafx). Recently, Hudson finished completion of Tengai Makyo III for the PlayStation 2, debuting the game to strong first week sales. The series has never seen stateside release. The version of Tengai Makyo being released to Xbox 360 seems to be a remake of the original PC Engine CD title, Tengai Makyo Ziria. Hiroi Ouji is handling planning and direction for the game. Torajiro Tsujino is directing the games artwork with Ryuichi Sakamoto creating the theme song. Following a few comments via a video message, Ouji shared a trailer for Tengai Makyo Ziria. Filled with animation and bright, colorful 3D graphics, this title is immediately recognizable as a true Japanese RPG, adding to Microsofts growing lineup of Japans favorite genre.Source: http://xbox360.ign.com
