Final Fantasy XI Playable At Leipzig Game Event
Square Enix has followed yesterday’s news concerning the presence of THQ Xbox 360 games at the Games Convention 2005 in August with word that it’ll be showing Final Fantasy XI on Microsoft’s next-gen console at the event. Final Fantasy XI on Xbox 360 was announced during this year’s E3, Square Enix revealing that Xbox 360 users will be able to play the MMORPG alongside - i.e. on the same servers as - other adventurers who are accessing the game through alternate platforms. Attendees of Games Convention 2005, which runs from August 17 to 21 in Leipzig, Germany, will be able to get hands-on with FFXI on Xbox 360, dip into the world of Vana’diel as realized on next-gen hardware and explore some of the title’s areas of adventure.
