It Came From Japan
With the Tokyo Game Show just around the corner, Japanese games mag Famitsu has revealed 3rd party plans for the next-gen consoles. On the Playstation 3 side, Banpresto brings out a new installment of the ultra-popular Super Robot Wars series, a game thats also been announced for Xbox 360. On the Xbox 360 side, developer Hamster will be making The Convenience Store X, a new entry in a series thats kinda like Sim City except you run a convenience store chain. Next up is Spikes Way of the Samurai Online, planned for a 2006 release. Hudson has announced Bomberman: Act Zero in the summer of 2006, while the unusual versus shooter Senkou no Ronde also heads to Xbox 360. Finally, developer Success hits a grand slam with a "Sea Action Game" and an untitled mahjong game. Better pre-order that Xbox 360 mahjong import! Some of the titles will be in video form at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show (have we mentioned we have a bunch of editors in Tokyo right this second?) tomorrow, so check back at 1UP for all your niche next-gen Japanese gaming needs.Source: http://www.1up.com/
