Halo 3 vs PS3 Match Up Unlikely
World’s leading software development company and the makers of the Xbox range of gaming consoles Microsoft has clarified that it is not essential that the much awaited game for their Xbox 360 Halo 3 would be ready by the Sony PlayStation 3 launch. Company’s chairman Bill Gates has sometime back stated that the company would be countering the excitement of the launch of PS3 by luring users to Xbox 360 using the latest sequel of their super hit title Halo. Robbie Bach, President of Microsoft’s Xbox entertainment and devices division clarified this removing any indications about the probable launch of the Halo 3 videogame. He was responding to the question regarding comments made in Time Magazine by Bill Gates earlier this year that Halo 3 would be released in time to blunt the launch of the PS3. Bach indicated that Gates was just using the reference to the series of games, which would be made available by the company for their Xbox 360 gaming console to counter any threat by the Sony’s upcoming gaming console. Bach is said to be quoted saying: “Philosophically, the point Bill was trying to make is that we’re not just going to ship and not have great stuff coming up. We don’t know when Sony will ship PS3. They’ve said spring … What we do know is that the way our portfolio lines up we’re going to have great exclusive content. Halo is something we’ll ship when it’s ready.”Source: http://www.gamerlounge.com/
