Tecmo reps speak their mind
Even though Tecmo has plans to release Dead or Alive 3 exclusively this fall for the Xbox. Some of the representatives from the company told the Newsweek Japan how they truly feel about the Xbox. Series producer Tomonobu Itagaki told reporters why he’s interested in the Xbox: "The libraries available for the PlayStation 2 are meager. Microsoft is using libraries which most developers are already familiar with, so it makes things much easier for us." Even after those kind words, company Vice President Jinji Nakamura spoke up and stated that Tecmo is taking awhile to warm up to the Xbox, "Under the current market conditions, we rank the PlayStation 2 as the most important platform for us, then GameCube, and lastly Xbox.
