First Xbox 360 Game Chart
Perfect Dark Zero is the top-selling Xbox 360 game in Chart-Track’s inaugral sales chart The very first Official Xbox 360 game sales chart has just exploded into our inbox and it confirms that a certain Joanna Dark was the weapon of choice for most Xbox 360 owners who wanted to show off the next-gen power of their new console. Perfect Dark Zero has streaked to the top of the inaugral Chart-Track Top 15 Xbox 360 games chart for the week ending December 3. As more Xbox 360 games become available the chart will expand to 20 positions and be issued on a weekly basis. Project Gotham Racing 3 skidded into second place as fans of Bizarre’s stunning online racer snapped up its next-gen version. In the third spot is Activision’s cracking Call of Duty 2, and Sega’s Condemned has pleased everyone here at OXM360 by selling enough copies of its terrifying FPS brutality to hit the fourth spot. A slight surprise is that Rare’s long-awaited Kameo: Elements of Power only managed to chart at number 6. We were also expecting a higher position for EA’s FIFA: Road to the FIFA World Cup. It only managed to get to the 7 spot. And which game gets the wooden spoon for the lowest selling Xbox 360 launch game? EA’s NBA Live 06. Fair enough really, considering its primarily aimed at a US audience. Amped 3 didn’t fare much better – a shame, but we’re sure once you’ve read our review of 2K Games’ slick snowboarder in Issue 3 of Xbox 360: The Official Xbox Magazine (out Friday!) it’ll shoot up the charts.
