The Xbox 360 Launch In Australia May Be Delayed
Rumours have recently been making the rounds claiming that Microsoft has delayed the release of the Xbox 360 in Australia, which was originally planned for a March 2, 2006 launch. The rumour claimed that Microsoft had delayed the launch of the Xbox 360 to March 23, 2006. Considering that this rumour originated on a forum, we did not take the claims seriously until further proof had began to form. Recently, further information on the delayed launch has surfaced. Another forumer, who claims to be an employee of nationwide retailer chain, Target, has reported that next week's catalogue has the release date for the Xbox 360 branded as March 23, rather than March 2 that all catalogues have recently been marked with. Upon getting in contact with a Microsoft spokesperson in Australia, Gamer Within received the usual "Microsoft does not comment on speculation" response that the technology giant gives to all rumours and speculation surrounding the company and their products. Further adding to the rumour's fire are the claims that Microsoft will issue an official statement on the system's delay in Australia on January 27, 2006. Of course, this claim is also nothing more than pure speculation. If Microsoft does issue a statement on the 27, be assured that Xboxaddict.com will be the first to report it.Source: http://www.gamerwithin.com
