XBOX Rentals..Online!
Internet game rental market leader, RedOctane (www.redoctane.com) today announced that soon, its customers will be able to rent Xbox games through the internet. Starting fall 2001, customers will be able to order the hottest Xbox titles along with PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and Dreamcast titles that are already available to rent through the company’s website.This announcement is accompanied by the launch of the company’s Xbox platform page and "Official Xbox Give Away", where one lucky winner will be one of the 1st to own a Xbox. The Xbox platform page features console specifics and titles scheduled to be available at launch. Game titles will be featured, but the actual games won’t be available for pre-orders or rental until fall, 2001. To generate hype for the Xbox and to kick-start the expansion of our rental offering to include Xbox titles, RedOctane is holding an "Official Xbox Give Away."
