Xbox 360 Launches In Korea
The popular Microsoft Xbox 360 game console has just been released in Korea, while a shortage of the next generation console continues in the United States. Along with new regional release, Microsoft is also researching the console market for the possibility of the Xbox 360 being available to consumers in China -- something that both Nintendo and Sony have been wary of doing. Microsoft plans to launch the console in Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong on March 16, 2006. Along with the game console, Microsoft rolled out 11 console games and is planning to release a total of 100 games by the end of this year, Microsoft Korea said. Countries like Korea and China are important for Microsoft to try to gain superiority in the console market in Asia -- Sony and Nintendo dominate Japan and Korea.Source: http://www.dailytech.com/
