Paperboy Delivering To Your Xbox 360
In an interesting turn of events, a Nintendo classic is making its way to the Xbox Live Arcade. Although originally an arcade game, most people remember first seeing it on the NES. Paperboy was released for the NES in 1991, and immediately became a part of the gaming sub-culture. The rolling tires, the grim reaper, and the numerous gravestones that littered the front yards of the houses on a single street; these are well known items to people who attempted the once simple task of delivering papers. Midway pledged to support any system similar to Xbox Live Arcade on the PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Revolution. With Nintendo already making the announcement of the "Revolutions Virtual System" feature, many people are looking forward to being able to play classic NES and SNES games again on their home console. With the Revolution coming later this year, announcements like this can only wet the appetite of classic gamers even more. The tremendous level of success the Xbox Live Arcade has enjoyed shows that there is a market for nostalgia in gaming. The Revolution has the best shot at capitalizing in this market with such an extensive and popular catalog in all of Nintendos previous platforms. Midway also announced another great game from previous consoles that will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade will be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3.Source: http://www.realmmedia.com/
