PDZ Maps Coming

In a perfect case of asynchronous coordination, Microsoft's hyperactive PR/marketing team blasted out emails yesterday announcing new multiplayer maps for Perfect Dark Zero before the development team placed them on Xbox Live Marketplace. Thus, if you're scouting the Marketplace in search of new maps, you won't find them. The email blast hit computers around 9 am PST, and within a few hours, Microsoft's community spokesperson Major Nelson posted this on his blog. "Some folks received an email today stating that there is a Perfect Dark Zero map pack available for download," reads the regularly updated blog. "You can stop looking on Marketplace, because the map pack is not there. Apparently the email went out before the maps were ready. That's all I know right now, but I wanted to give this update in case some people were confused." We'll let you know when the maps hit Marketplace. The pack consits of four new maps, Plaza, Trench, Rooftops, and Gas Plant. Joanna fans can grab it for 500 Microsoft Points ($6.25) when it eventually gets released.
