Microsoft Creates Open Platform For Xbox 360
Microsoft has announced that a new game development platform from them will allow anyone to create games for the Xbox 360. This announcement was made on Monday and with the announcement came the unveiling of Microsoft’s XNA Game Studio Express development kit. The kit will released in beta form this August and will be free for anyone running a Windows XP PC. Users of the new development kit will have the option to join a developers group for $99 per year. This group will allow users to share and test their games.
