He [Jared Leto] sings with a range and ease that makes cathedrals jealous.” Revolver Magazine said "His intensity and passion clearly inform the textural hard rock of A Beautiful Lie. Like the band’s 2002 self-titled debut, the album boasts echoing riffs, moody bass lines, and strong vocal melodies that evoke a radio-friendly mix of Nine Inch Nails, U2, and the Cure." Metal Edge Magazine named A Beautiful Lie one of the best CDs of 2005. Continuing to tour through the end of 2006, 30 Seconds To Mars recently completed their first ever headlining tour which sold out across the country; they also played Bamboozle, Lollapalooza, and had a stint on The Warped Tour.
