TeamXbox.com has gotten a chance to do a "hands on" review of the new Xbox controller. In the review the words "big" and "perfect fit" were used. Here’s a small snippet of what Bart had to say about it.My first chance to use the controller was playing Halo at the Bungie Fanfest. When I first looked at the controller, my first impression was "BIG." I will not deny that it does look big. I will tell you though, that it must be some kind of optical illusion. After 20 minutes of playing Halo together, I asked Shockwave and Liquid G what they thought of the game. In the conversation, the controller was brought up. We all looked at each other with a blank face. None of us could remember what it felt like! We them realized that we actually forgot all about the controller as we played the game. That sentence should say it all. The controller feels so natural in your hands, you don’t even realize it’s there.
I can assure everyone that all of the stories you have heard about it feeling too big are absolutely false. I do not really have big hands, and it felt great. I just want to put this subject to rest. The size of the controller is fine, more than fine actually. Period.
