The next chapter in the Vermintide 2 story has arrived, and it’s available as a free download. In Chaos Wastes, the players will -try- to reach the Citadel of Eternity, but only the pure at heart will be able to complete the journey.
The release will allow console players to follow the same path their PC brethren enjoyed, taking on a thrilling paranormal story where the threat of The Presence, a dark entity that reacts to your way of playing, looms large throughout.
The rules are simple: defeat opponents across five, 25-second rounds. The twist is they’re the same 25 seconds; repeated. Within them, players take turns to execute an action, whether blasting enemies, capturing targets, or stealing objectives.
This release will mark the first time the Empire of Angels series has been on consoles since the series began in 1993.
