Official Xbox Magazine Awards Podcast
OXM senior editors Ryan McCaffrey and Dan Amrich will be hosting the two-part podcast, the first of which will air today, marking the 50th OXM podcast episode. The second part of the awards show will air the following Friday. Over 24 winning game developers will participate in the show. "The KOXMmies represent the new goals of Official Xbox Magazine,” OXM editor-in-chief Francesca Reyes told Next-Gen. “We take any opportunity to deliver a little extra entertainment to our audience, and this was a great way to celebrate the podcast’s 50th show." The magazine will recognize games across 36 categories, including Xbox 360 Game of the Year, Xbox Game of the Year, Best Use of the Sound of a Fist Pounding on an Oiled-Up Pig Carcass, Best Game You’ve Already Forgotten About and the Franchise Suicide Award. The podcast is available on iTunes in the “Games” section under “OXM Podcast” or on www.oxmpodcast.com.
