Free Game Hitting XBLA Wednesday
A 2D, side-scrolling shooter, Aegis Wing was conceived by three interns at Microsoft who worked in tandem with Carbonated Games, makers of the Xbox Live favorite UNO. Set in the year 2105, humanity must evacuate Earth and head to the far-off planet Europa. Unfortunately, our new home comes under attack by an alien race called the Araxia. The Europa fleet must use the Araxia’s technology against them and pilot the Aegis Wing into combat. The game supports up to four players either locally or over Xbox Live. The Aegis Wings can be combined into two-, three-, or four-ship formations to unleash a super weapon upon the Araxia. Aegis Wing will only be free for a limited time, so look for it this Wednesday.Source: http://www.ign.com
