Sega Joins Unreal Engine 3 CrowdThe engine, which Epic Games used in Gears of War, will power "several upcoming projects being developed in North America," Sega has confirmed. "SEGA is pleased to arm our developers with the sophisticated tools contained in Epic Games Unreal Engine 3," commented the president and COO of SEGA of America, Simon Jeffery. Mark Rein, vice president of Epic Games said: "SEGA has a long history of innovation and leadership in our industry and were honored that theyve chosen to use Unreal Engine 3." Sega said titles that will utilise UE3 will be specified later this year.
