18,000 Attend Inaugural E for All
The four day consumer-orientated convention, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, offered attendees the chance to test-drive the latest videogames, including Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4 and Nintendo’s Mario Galaxy, compete in competitive gaming tournaments and sit in on developer sessions. More than 70 major interactive entertainment companies were on hand for the event, while in excess of 1,100 members of the media turned up. 18,000 attendees are thought to have visited the convention. "We are thrilled with the attendance, and we are pleased that we delivered the event we aimed for, which was a celebration that truly was for the entire game community," said Mary Dolaher, CEO, IDG World Expo. "With over 18,000 attendees on the show floor, from gamers and exhibitors, to developers, retailers and families, the mood was always fun and energetic. The response to the event was overwhelmingly positive, and we want to thank everyone for their tremendous support of E for All. We cant wait to see you back at the Los Angeles Convention Center next year at E for Alls 2008 show."Source: http://www.next-gen.biz
