Lego Batman Confirmed for 2008
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games, developer of the Lego Star Wars series, have today announced that Lego Batman: The Videogame will be released on next-gen and current-gen platforms and the PC in 2008."We’re sure our fans will be excited to know that we have the same fantastic team at Traveller’s Tales responsible for LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Star Wars II working on LEGO BATMAN," said Tom Stone, Director of TT Games Publishing.
Based on the world of DC Comics’ Caped Crusader, players will be able to explore a rich and interactive Lego Gotham City as Batman and Robin.
With Batman’s greatest foes escaping from Arkham Asylum and causing mayhem throughout Gotham City, Batman and Robin will have to capture the likes of The Joker and The Penguin, utilising gadgets and high-powered vehicles.
As with Lego Star Wars, two-player co-operative play is promised and it’s safe to assume online play will also be present.
