Delman’s lengthy official title is "corporate VP of global marketing for the Interactive Entertainment Business in the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft."

Delman will head up the global marketing strategy for Microsoft Game Studios, Xbox, Games for Windows, Xbox Live and manage customer relationships, Microsoft said.

Delman, who will officially take on the role in August when Bell departs, is currently VP of Microsoft’s Global Marketing Communications Group.

He’ll report directly to IEB SVP Don Mattrick.

Delman was also previously director of marketing for Microsoft Europe, Middle East and Africa, and general manager of the MSN Internet access business.
